Directions By Car (avoiding city centre traffic)

Coming from Dublin or Limerick continue on the N6 west to near Galway city where you will automatically connect up with the N59 towards Clifden. This road takes you on to the new bridge over the River Corrib. At the first roundabout after the bridge follow the signposts towards Spiddal. Continue straight on and at the third set of traffic lights at the top of the hill turn right towards Spiddal. This is the R337.

Having turned right continue for about 1 mile (1.5km) and take the second road on the left.

Drive for 200 metres and you will see the large Salthill Caravan Park sign on your right hand side. Turn right directly under the sign and drive 100 metres down laneway into the park office.

Driving from Donegal, Tuam or Ballinrobe join with the N59 and proceed as above.

Coming from Salthill, drive west past the end of the promenade and golf course. At the end of the golf course on your left hand side is the Spinnaker House Hotel and a small supermarket. After these buildings is a field with caravans, this field is not Salthill Caravan Park and the managment of this field do not speak for Salthill Caravan Park.

At the end of this field on the left hand side, you will see the large sign for Salthill Caravan Park. Immediately at the sign turn left towards the sea and drive down the laneway 100 metres into Salthill Caravan Park.

A direct BUS from Eyre Square in Galway City Centre is available to outside the gates of the Caravan Park and runs daily from 8am until 11pm.

An excellent Taxi service is available from Galway direct to the Caravan Park.
