Positioned at the gateway to Connemara "The Clifden Art Gallery" makes a perfect stop for those exploring the region. The Clifden Art Gallery is a very unique little gallery situated in the scenic beauty of west of Ireland. The Gallery is situated in Clifden, the "capital of connemara", on the main street. The Gallery is the first building that visitors see as they enter Clifden on the N59 route.

HISTORY
The Clifden Art Gallery was founded in 1995 by Dolores Dowling and now has a worldwide reputation as one of the little treasures of Ireland. Dolores studied fashion design at the Grafton Academy and later studied Art at the NCAD, she also has a Degree in Marketing. Dolores extensive knowledge of art and design should prove invaluble to those wishing to purchase that perfect piece. Click here for map.
FEATURES
This Gallery carries some of Irelands leading artists and sculptors, featuring pieces of Irish art which vary from landscapes to modern. New pieces are exhibited on a regular basis to excite the art lover.
