Fatal road accident on N17

Fatal road accident on N17

A 60 year old woman had been killed and 3 other people injured as a result of a traffic accident on the N17 at Peake, Loughgeorge, Co. Galway at 02:49 on the 20 October 2002. The accident involved two cars, both were travelling towards Tuam prior to the accident. The injured were taken to University College Hospital Galway. Gardai at Galway are investigating the accident. The dead woman has been named as Mary Dunleavy from Carheenlea, Turlough Mor, Co. Galway.
