20041012 Friday, 10 Sept, 2004, Kilronan, Inishmore. Dancers from Ragus hit their mark, suspended in gravity defying grace. Ragus is a performing company based in the Aran Islands dedicated to the celebration traditional Irish music and dance. The young and superbly talented ensemble of musicians and dancers, haling from Counties across Ireland, spent the summer performing twice daily in the community centre in Kilronan. his was their final show of 2004, concluding their seventh season. Ragus has been so successful the comp has recently completed tours of Japan and the States. Ragus returns to its home on Inishmore in June '05. Photographer: Todd Parker. |
