Aran Direct offers daily sailings to all three Aran Islands (Inis Mór, Inis Meáin and Inis Oírr) on Galway's newest luxury ferries. Known as “The Islander’s Choice”, Aran Direct is owned and operated by Islanders. The ferries leave from Rossaveal in County Galway, and there is an optional private bus transfer from Galway City. Aran Direct's ferries are the only ferries with exclusive Electronic Stabilisers that ensure a smooth, safe and comfortable crossing. The service operates all year round. Aran Direct has two ticket offices in Galway City Centre - at 29 Forster Street (opposite the main Tourist.Office), and also at Port Cafe, 124 Eyre Square. The office at Port Cafe is just around the corner from the bus departure point, and has internet facilities, gaming computers and a cafe that opens from 8 till late.
