Sleepzone Connemara, opened in March 2005, is the new sister hostel of the highly-rated Sleepzone in Galway City. Overlooking the Killary fjord it is one of the most spectacularly situated hostels in Europe.
As in Galway, Sleepzone Connemara offers a range of accommodation in private and dormitory rooms - all ensuite. In all it has 91 beds in 21 rooms, free Internet and WiFi access via satellite, bureau de change, tourist information as well as a bar, self-catering kitchen, mini-store, cable TV, its own tennis court and sauna.
Another of its attractions is that it is situated in the heart of Killary - the Adventure Capital of Ireland, so a range of adventure activities and outdoor pursuits are available literally on its doorstep. If activity doesn't appeal to you though, the serenity of the location of Sleepzone Connemara is an attraction in itself.
